Kinder Scientific products are used to help test the safety of drugs.  Before drugs are commercially released for human use, their safety and efficacy have to be proved to the appropriate governmental regulatory agency.  This proof typically includes data from a human clinical study.  In order to qualify to test the drug in the clinical study, the drug has to be shown to be safe to animals generally.  This safety is established by showing that the drugs are not toxic, do not adversely affect behavior and don’t adversely affect reproduction.  Kinder Scientific products are used to help establish safety in all three of these areas in animals generally.  This is done, in part, by giving animals, under governmental and ethical guidelines, regimens of drugs and seeing how the drug affects these three areas.  Only if minimal adverse effects are shown in all areas is the target drug allowed to be tested in a human clinical study.
